The Chamber Tender/Operator Course at the SSS Network is designed for Dive Masters, Instructors, and other dive professionals who want to expand their skills into the realm of hyperbaric medicine. This unique course, available in Koh Tao and Phuket, provides an opportunity to not only learn more about Decompression Illness (DCI) and the operation of hyperbaric chambers but also to work with the SSS Network, potentially earning extra income as a certified chamber operator.

What You’ll Learn
The course includes both theoretical and hands-on training. Topics covered include:
- DCI Physics and Physiology: A deep dive into the causes and symptoms of DCI, and how to recognize them in injured divers.
- Emergency Response: Learn how to stabilize and care for divers while awaiting evacuation or transporting them to a medical facility.
- Chamber Operations: Get hands-on experience operating a hyperbaric chamber, tending patients inside, and handling emergency situations.
Course Structure
The Chamber Tender/Operator Course runs over five consecutive evenings from 6pm to 10pm, followed by real-world training during five actual treatments. This allows you to experience hyperbaric chamber operations in real scenarios.

- Cost: 10,000 Baht
- Certification: SSS in-house certification
