The SSS Hyperbaric Chamber Facility in Phuket is the first diver recompression chamber in southern Thailand, established in 1996. This facility serves the entire west coast of Thailand, from the Myanmar border to Malaysia. Specializing in the treatment of recreational divers with Decompression Sickness (DCS) and Arterial Gas Embolism (AGE), our chamber is equipped to manage diving emergencies, working in partnership with Phuket International Hospital for comprehensive medical care.
Our facility has expanded to offer in-patient services, separate examination rooms, and a seminar area where leading hyperbaric professionals deliver presentations on cutting-edge dive safety. We take pride in offering extensive services to both divers and the medical community, with a focus on patient care and education.

At the heart of the Phuket Hyperbaric Chamber Facility is a Multiplace Recompression Chamber.
This advanced chamber can accommodate up to four occupants, including an inside attendant, and is capable of reaching depths of 165 feet (50 meters). The chamber’s multiplace design allows staff to transfer supplies or medical personnel without disrupting treatment, offering the highest standards of care.
Voice communication and video monitoring systems ensure constant supervision during treatments, adhering to U.S. Navy treatment protocols. While many chambers can only be pressurized to 60 feet, the multiplace chamber in Phuket offers more comprehensive treatment options, ensuring better outcomes for diving accidents and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
